Ingredients

For this recipe, you’ll need:

  • 2 packs (200 g) of Oreo biscuits
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) of melted butter
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) of sugar
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) of cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) of flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

Instructions

Step 1: Prep Your Oreos

Start by prepping your Oreos. Take two packs of Oreos and grind them in a food processor until they form a coarse powder. You can also put them in a plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin. Once you’ve done that, add the Oreo powder to a bowl and set aside.

Step 2: Make the Batter

In a separate bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk, melted butter, milk, vanilla extract and sugar. Next, sift in the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix everything together until you have a smooth batter.

Step 3: Combine the Ingredients

Add the Oreo powder to the batter and mix until everything is combined. The batter should be thick and sticky. At this point, you can add any additional mix-ins you’d like, such as chopped nuts, chocolate chips or dried fruits.

Step 4: Bake the Cake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch (23 cm) round cake pan and pour the batter into it. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Once the cake is done baking, allow it to cool before serving.
