Instructions

To make the cake: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 10-inch x 15-inch baking pan and line with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt and cocoa powder. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined. Fold in the sour cream, mini Oreos and chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.

To make the filling: In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the butter until light and fluffy. Add the confectioners' sugar and beat until creamy.
