Delicious Crab Cakes Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 lb. jumbo lump crabmeat
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup finely diced red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup finely diced celery
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the crabmeat, mayonnaise, red bell pepper, celery, parsley, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, dry mustard and Old Bay seasoning. Mix well and season to taste with salt and pepper.
In a shallow bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs and eggs. Form the crab mixture into 8-10 patties and coat in the egg mixture. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add enough oil to coat the pan. Fry the crab cakes until golden brown, about 4 minutes per side. Serve warm with tartar sauce or a lemon wedge.
